Hi Guys,

Well, if school hasn’t already started, then it will in about a week or two.  If you’re like so many other moms, then there are new clothes to buy, because over the summer the kids had the nerve to grow.  She wants a new pink and silver backpack and he wants an Avengers backpack.  Your teen has to have a new tablet or has to pay for the one the school issued because he or she broke it and didn’t tell you about it. And your graduate’s pictures cost a small fortune!  That car you promised to him or her so that they can drive to their first year of college cost more than a few grand.  You have online forms upon online forms to fill out for the kids so that there won’t be any delays and finally, you have to go to school and stand in line as they get their class schedules.  

No one walked the dog, so you have to. GREAT! That’s the perfect time to unwind, while walking Fido.  See, me time is anytime you can unwind and relax.  Many people walk and look around at their surroundings, they take a gander at the neighbor’s home improvements and make a mental note to ask them who their contractor is. While walking Fido, you see a neighbor who is out gardening (which is also a great me time activity). You stop and talk to him or her for about 10 minutes and continue on your walk. Before you know it, you’ve walked several blocks or half a mile and you know it’s time to turn around and head back to your own home, because Fido did an about-face and started walking in the direction of home.  But before you do, you stop at the neighborhood ice cream parlor or frozen yogurt place and get a cone for you and Fido. By the time you get home, you’ve calmed down and your mind is organizing how to care for your family and home. 

NO EXCUSES THIS SEMESTER GUYS! TAKE SOME ME TIME!
